Katt & Brooks | Married

There is something so magical about Ash Lawn-Highland with its towering old trees, charming brick walkways, and surrounding mountain vistas. I was so happy to be back here again! This couple was from my alma mater, the University of Virginia, so it was near and dear to my heart. I finally got to work with the amazing Southern Blooms, and with catering by Harvest Moon and planning by Down the Aisle Events, the day ended up being super lovely and could not have been more perfect! Well, maybe a few degrees cooler. :) Many thanks to the lovely Carrie Coleman for being my second shooter!

This was my first non-family-member wedding so I felt very honored that this couple was willing to take a chance on me. They are truly a lovely and genuine couple! It turned out to be a really beautiful fall day down in Staunton, VA, with a trip up Skyline Drive for some colorful couple portraits.
